What's the idea behind the site? The idea is to link "Everything Everton" through one site. I only found out about some of the best Everton websites by chance. A casual comment at a match put me on to Blue Kipper - when I checked it out I felt like I'd been missing out for years! Each site links to a few others, but I wanted to see if there was a way to get everything linked through one place. I can't find my town on the map - can you put it on? I'll try! I'm in the process of making a new map this month (January 08) so just mail me the details to enquiries@evertonmap.com and I'll see if it can be squeezed in. How can I get my name/details/website on the Everton Map? Easy! Just click on the "Upload your own Pictures" link and fill in a few boxes. You need to tell me 1) the text you want to appear when the cursor passes over your "spot", 2) the website you want the click through to go to, 3) where you want your spot and 4) the picture you want to "pop-up". You can use EvertonMap.com to advertise your business - whether it's football related or not - just so long as you are an Evertonian and you are providing products, services or events that other Everton fans might be interested in. Maybe you just want to show the world that you support Everton by getting your name, website and a favourite picture on the map! How much does it cost? Nothing until the end of the 2007-08 season. Get your picture up, see how you like it. If you want to keep it on the map until the end of the 2008-2009 season, it's ten pounds, all in. Otherwise, you don't pay a penny. Images and links that are paid for will stay up on EvertonMap until the start of the 2009-2010 season. First off, though, upload your pictures and text and make sure you think they are O.K. - it's free until the end of May 08 and you only pay £10 if you want to keep it in place after that. Can I get my company logo to display permanently on the site? Yes you can, no problem. You may need a good few 10x10 spots to show up a clear and legible "permanent" image of your logo. The Top Balcony opened soon after and that's where my Dad would usually take me and my older brother. As a teenager I switched to the Street End, just a bit further back and to the right of Fozzie Bear's pillar (if you understand that, you must have hit forty too!). Past ten years I've had a season ticket in the main stand. |
